I really liked the profile and pattern of the Islay. A combination of being a taller boot, along with the smaller perforations on the medallion toe and the trimmer welt, I much preferred the proportions of the Islay. The last is gorgeous almond toe shape, slightly slimmer profile than the Stow.

My group was a bit frustrated at how long we had to wait for everything. Every bottle neck, every obstacle line probably added a good hour onto our time at least; I guess we should have been more aggressive and pushed past people? Other than that, I’m not sure how people have significantly better times without straight up skipping burpees or obstacles other than the obvious runners or sprinters. 2 points submitted 2 months ago.
While all this is going through my mind and I’m trying to figure out answers in an instant, I suddenly realize that my husband has literally jumped over me and he is running. He was like a relay racer jumping out of the blocks and I might add proudly carrying his ‘baton’ I imagine for the ‘hand off’. To say that he is running ‘balls out’ would be an understatement!.
Sure things can have limits as well as people but does that put a stop to something? No, it doesn’t and it shouldn’t. Almost everyone has limits of some kind when it comes to life. But that is not the point, the point is how do you deal with those limits? Or do you live your life as though you have no limits and you can do anything you put your mind too? Think about that, I know that some people who have limits don’t work with them they just say they have a specific limit and leave it at that..
Do what works for you though, if you visit somewhere with a local seller get a jar or two, if you run out and some, head to the supermarket. Do what you can do. Best thing you can do is support your local/ethical/environmentally friendly sources when you can, but put your needs first..
